Proceso de Trabajo y Sindicalismo Universitario

Resumen

El presente texto versa sobre el carácter específico del proceso de trabajo en las instituciones universitarias. A la luz de la diferenciación entre trabajo productivo e improductivo elaborada por Marx, se sostiene que la labor de las universidades públicas es de tipo improductivo, en el sentido de que, al menos en el corto plazo, no contribuye a la obtención de ganancias. Esto hace que los sindicatos en dichas instituciones carezcan de poder para lograr
incrementos en los salarios, que se aparten de las políticas establecidas por el gobierno.
